Oligopeptide-68 is a TGF-ß biomimetic peptide encapsulated in phospholipids liposome for better skin penetration and continuous release in skin. Oligopeptide-68 differentiates itself from other traditional whitening agents with a unique action mechanism on MITF factor inhibition, key enzymes involved in pigmentation: it decreases both the constitutive and facultative pigmentation pathways allowing optimal and significant whitening and lightening effect, even on Asian skin. By decreasing tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis, it provides a progressive brightening effect for a more uniform complexion and reduces the appearance of pigmented spots.
By reducing collagen breakdown and increasing fibroblasts, skin aging is slowed down. It is shown in studies that niacinamide stimulates new fibroblasts by 20% and collagen secretion by 54%. Niacinamide is a perfect ingredient for daily skincare products for dry and sensitive skin. The many beneficial effects it brings to creams it is used in help to lessen the appearance of wrinkles and improve the appearance of acne and skin tone. Pigmentation is caused primarily by prolonged exposure to sun light. Niacinamide inhibits the transfer of the melanosomes to the surrounding keratinocytes by up to 68% but does not inhibit the production of melanin.
Produced by cold extraction from olive leaves (Folia Oleae) followed by a careful drying method. The olive, Olea europaea, from the family Oleaceae, is a long-lived, evergreen, sub-tropical tree and has been cultivated for at least 40 centuries for its edible fruit, its valuable oil and for its wood. Unripe olives are green, dark bluish when ripe and are the source of the oil. It is native to the eastern Mediterranean region, where its culture may have been begun as long ago as 3500 BC. In popular medicine, topical application of a leaves decoction is recommended to treat wounds and as an antiseptic. Reluminate is a luxurious cosmetic cream.
